A&G Equipment supplies electric scissor lift rental Kuala Lumpur contractors can book by the week or month, from compact 5.6 m units to 12 m wide-deck lifts.

Typical Scissor Lift Jobs in Kuala Lumpur
Mall and retail fit-outs at night
Shop fit-outs, ceiling repairs, lighting and festive décor in malls often run after trading hours. Battery scissor lifts are quiet and produce no exhaust at the point of use, so work can continue in an enclosed mall without disturbing tenants. Non-marking tyres protect polished tiles and finished floors.
Office and commercial interiors
Ceiling boards, partitions, CCTV, Wi-Fi and air-conditioning work in office towers usually sits between 5.6 m and 8 m working height. A compact battery lift gives two people a stable platform, which is safer and faster than repositioning ladders or mobile scaffolds every few metres.
Condo and residential common areas
Lobbies, car park ceilings and clubhouse refurbishments call for a lift that fits through standard doors and rides in the goods lift. The narrowest models in our range are 0.76 m wide.
Data halls in Cyberjaya
Cable trays, containment, ducting and lighting in data halls need clean, quiet machines. Most clients do not allow diesel inside the halls, so plan electric scissor lifts and agree charging points early. Our data centre planning checklist covers floors, gate permits and paperwork.
Getting the Lift Into the Building
In KL, the hardest part of a scissor lift job is often the route in: basement loading bays, ramps, doorways and goods lifts. Measure these before you book and compare them with the machine figures below.
| Check | Dingli 5.6m Battery Scissor Lift | Dingli 12m Electric Scissor Lift |
|---|---|---|
| Width | 0.76 m | 1.15 m |
| Stowed height / size | 1.64 m stowed height | 2.48 x 1.15 x 1.96 m |
| Machine weight | 920 kg | 3,060 kg |
| Platform capacity | 240 kg | 320 kg |
| Best for | Doorways, goods lifts, low ceilings | High ceilings, atriums, data halls |
Also check suspended slabs, mezzanines and raised floors can carry the machine’s weight, and look for sprinkler pipes and ducts above the work area.
How to Choose the Right Height
Working height is roughly platform height plus 2 m, so measure the height of the actual work, not the building. Our scissor lift height guide for fit-out and M&E explains this in more detail.
| Job in KL | Working height | Suggested machine |
|---|---|---|
| Shop fit-out, office ceilings, signage at shopfront level | 5.6 m – 6 m | Dingli 5.6m Battery Scissor Lift |
| Mall ceilings, standard M&E | About 8 m | Ask us for a mid-height battery model |
| Atriums, high-bay data halls, tall showrooms | 12 m | Dingli 12m Electric Scissor Lift |
| Reaching over shelving, plant or a ledge | Varies | A small articulated boom, not a scissor lift |

Scissor Lift rental in Kuala Lumpur: FAQs
Will a scissor lift fit in a KL office or condo goods lift?
Often, yes, if you choose a compact model. The Dingli 5.6m Battery Scissor Lift is 0.76 m wide, 1.64 m high when stowed and weighs 920 kg. Check those figures against the goods lift's door opening, car size and rated load, and send us a photo of the lift plate on WhatsApp so we can double-check.
Can we use a scissor lift at night in a shopping mall?
Yes. Battery scissor lifts are quiet and produce no exhaust at the point of use, which is why they suit after-hours work in malls and occupied buildings. Agree the working hours, loading bay slot and charging point with mall management before the machine arrives.
Do you have a branch or depot in Kuala Lumpur?
No. Our yard and office are in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, and we deliver from there to sites across Johor, KL & Selangor. That is why we recommend booking early and sending site details up front.
Is it worth renting a scissor lift from Johor for a short KL job?
Transport is a one-off cost that depends on distance, so it weighs heavily on a one- or two-day hire. Weekly and monthly rentals spread that cost over more days and usually make more sense for KL sites. WhatsApp us your dates and we will quote both options.
Are your scissor lifts suitable for Cyberjaya data halls?
Our electric scissor lifts are zero-emission in use and run on non-marking tyres, which data hall contractors usually require. Check the raised floor or slab rating against the machine weight first. The Dingli 12m Electric Scissor Lift weighs 3,060 kg.
What paperwork do you supply for building management or the main contractor?
Every machine is delivered with a valid PMA, and our machines are DOSH/PMA-registered where required. Ask when you book and we will send copies ahead so the lift is not held at the loading bay.
Can your team train our operators in Kuala Lumpur?
Yes. We provide operator training on site at handover or at our yard in Iskandar Puteri. Whoever uses the lift must be trained and competent on that type of machine.
