Safety and PMA Compliance
Under the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (amended 2022), forklifts generally need DOSH registration and a valid PMA. Operators must be trained and competent, usually through a “lesen forklift” course. Do a pre-use check every shift, never exceed the load chart and never lift people on forks. Always check current DOSH requirements.
