How to choose the right height
Working height is roughly platform height plus 2 m. For an 8 m ceiling, you need at least 8 m working height, so a platform height of around 6 m. Leave a margin so the operator never over-reaches.

Should I rent an electric or a diesel scissor lift?
Choose an electric (battery) scissor lift for indoor work on firm, level floors, as it is quiet and emission-free in use. Choose a diesel rough-terrain scissor lift for outdoor construction sites and uneven ground.
Can I rent a scissor lift for just one day?
Yes. We offer daily, weekly and monthly rental, and weekly or monthly hire usually works out better value for longer jobs.

Can a scissor lift reach over obstacles?
No, a scissor lift only goes straight up. To reach over a canopy, ledge or machinery, you need a boom lift.
